In a further communication received on 5 January 1978, the Government of Denmark confirmed that the communication received by the Secretary-General on 12 November 1975 should be considered as having taken effect from 10 February 1976, in accordance with article X(2), it being understood that the
Convention was applied de facto to the Faeroe Islands and Greenland from 1 January to 9 February 1976.
