Occupational diseases are referred to as the 11lness prescribed
the Second Schedule of the Employees' Compensation Ordinance and the Pneumoconiosis (Compensation) Ordinance. The number of confirmed cases are reported in the Labour Department ́s Annual Departmental Report. Statistics on Occupational disease cover only those branches of economic activity where such diseases have occurred.
Statistics of industrial disputes shall be compiled in

Based on the reports on industrial disputes handled by the Labour Department, statistical records are compiled on a monthly, quarterly and
quarterly and annual basis to include such items as industry, cause of dispute and result. The classification of industry virtually covers all major industries representative of economic activities in Hong Kong.
