Application in Hong Kong
(b) the term "scaman" includes every person
employed or engaged in any capacity on board any vessel and entered on the ship's articles. It excludes masters, pilots, cadets and pupils on training ships and
uly indentured apprentices, naval ratings, and other persons in the permanent service of a Government;
(၁)
the term "master" includes every person having command and charge of a vessel except pilots;
(u) the term "home trade vessel" means a vessel
engaged in trade between a country and the ports of a neighbouring country within geographical limits determined by the national law.
(ii)
any floating dry dock, floating workshop or floating restaurant;
(b) "ship" includes any description of vessel
used in navigation not propelled by ours but excludes junks and lorchas whether mechanically propelled or not;

"geaman" includes every person (except masters, pilots, and apprentices duly indentured and registered) employed or engaged in any capacity on board y chip; and

"master" includes every person (except a pilot) having command or charge of any ship.

River trade
a v◄yage confined to "river trade limits".
