UNITED NATIONS CONFERENCE ON ENVIRONMENT AND DEVELOPMENT
I noticed in passing when reading the annual planners priorities paper that "obtaining agreement in effective conventions on climate change and biodiversity by 1992" is a Category B objective for the FCO. I still believe that the absence of a policy on our DTs is a potentially significant weakness which others may exploit to our disadvantage (though my primary interest is of course to ensure that our DTs are able to play a helpful and constructive role in the UNCED process which reflects the often excellent records they have in this field). I wonder how your thinking is developing?
