The institution was opened in 1988, under the
the Beijing Municipal Civil
administration

Administration Bureau.
For
three consecutive years, the
Institution had been rated as the top institution in
Beijing.

It had a capacity of 300, but an enrolment of only

The institution had a clinic and laboratories,
providing medical treatment and assessments, physiotherapy,
acupuncture, massage etc, to residents and non-residents.
It also had several activity rooms for painting,
handicrafts etc. A pamphlet introducing the Institution at
