Mr. YIP Wing-sang

Mr. YIP was born in Hong Kong in 1946. He

obtained the qualifications of B.Sc (Chinese University of Hong Kong) in 1972 and LLB (London) in 1979.

He first joined the Hong Kong Government as a Chinese Language Officer in 1973. In 1979, he was awarded a government legal scholarship to enable him to be legally qualified. He was admitted as a solicitor in 1982. Since then he joined the Attorney General's Chamberc aċ Counsel. He was promoted to Senior Crown Counsel in 1987.

A Crown

He has worked in both the Civil and Prosecutions Divisions. Other than working in the Attorney General's Chambers, he has also served as a legal adviser to the Police Complaints Committee and to the Office of Members of the Executive and Legislative Councils. At present he

works in the Legal Policy Division.
