Wanchai for hotel development. The land cost was

around HK$70 million, and an additional HK$300

million would be invested in building the hotel.

CITIC (HK) bought Asian House in Wanchai for

operation of Kwai Chung Container Terminal 7, in

a move to expand its shipping business.

China Expand Development Ltd., a PRC-based

developer, joined Tak Wing Development under the

Private Sector Participation Scheme at Junk Bay.

CITIC (HK) joined the Kumagai Gumi Co. Ltd. and

Cheung Kong (Holdings) Ltd. to develop a large

residential and commercial complex at Lam Tin.
