Annex
China Resources Company bought three floors and a
residential tower in Causeway Centre for HK$130
million.
1979
New China News Agency bought a whole building at
Happy Valley for use as its local headquarters at
a price. of HK$70 million from New World
Development Co. Ltd.
Kiu
Kwong Investment Corporation Ltd. developed a
25-storey godown at Kwai Chung.
China Resources Company acquired a reclaimed site
of 6 000 square metres on Gloucester Road for
HK$300 million.
Kiu Kwong Investment Corporation Ltd. acquired
the development right at the depot of the new KCR
station in Shatin.
China Travel Service (HK) Ltd. bought a godown
site at Hunghom for HK$33.8 million through its
subsidiary Hip Kee Godown (HK).

American
China Cement Co. (HK) Ltd., which was 40% owned
by
company Kaiser Cement
Corporation, 30% by Cheung Kong (Holdings) Ltd.
and 30% by Kiu Yip Investment Corp., invested in
cement plant estimated at HK$1 billion.
