DEATH PENALTY IN HONG KONG

Thank you for your letter dated 25 June 1991 about the death penalty in Hong Kong, addressed to the Prime Minister.
The Hong Kong Legislative Council, during its debate on
26 June, voted for the abolition of the death penalty. The Hong Kong Government are now considering whether to introduce amending legislation. If you have other points you wish to make I suggest you direct them to Hong Kong.
