1. Hong Kong telno 245 contained details of Hong Kong's revised visa policy for nationals of East European and other states.

2. Mr McLaren (DUS) has asked if this revised policy carries any resource implications for us. There would presumably be savings of work brought about by a number of the measures Hong Kong are introducing.
