Dear Prime Minister,
It was such an honour to have been invited to meet you over lunch at 10, Downing Street and to discuss what the Anglo-Hong Kong Trust can best do to preserve the longstanding cultural and commercial relations between Hong Kong, Britain and China.
I hope you will not mind my saying that your wonderful grasp of the situation has left a deep impression on me and I trust that we in the Anglo-Hong Kong Trust will be able to achieve some of the things you are interested in.
As a Hong Kong-born British Subject, I am naturally concerned about my future citizenship status and am particularly interested in your remarks about the Hong Kong registration for the right of abode. I feel optimistic about the future and my Company Headquarters will remain directing our international trade from Hong Kong even though it is a multi-national company.
Thanking you for the privilege of meeting you and hearing your views,
Yours sincerely
