"wholly owned subsidiary" (HBA) means a company which

has no members other than the Corporation and its wholly owned

subsidiaries and its or their nominees.

"Ordinarily resident"

For the purposes of this Ordinance a person shall be treated as

ordinarily resident in Hong Kong at any time if he has been present

in Hong Kong for not less than 180 days in the previous 12 months

and not less than 300 days in the previous 24 months.

Secretary to consult Secretary for the Treasury

Before giving any approval, authority or consent under section

8 (2) (h), 15, 16(3), 24(3), 29 or 35 the Secretary shall consult the

Secretary for the Treasury.

PART II

THE CORPORATION

5.

Establishment of the Corporation

There is hereby established a corporation to be known as the

Radio Television Hong Kong Corporation which shall be a body

corporate with a common seal and power to sue and be sued.

6.

Objects of the Corporation

(1) The Corporation shall have the following objects

(a) to provide a sound broadcasting service in Hong Kong;

to provide and produce programmes for radio and

television including programmes designed for

broadcasting to educational institutions;
