exercise of its powers may establish, and appoint the members of,

such committees as it thinks fit.

(2) Persons are eligible for appointment to committees whether

or not they are members of the Board.

(3) The chairman of a committee established under subparagraph

(1) shall be appointed by the Board and the number of members of a

committee shall be determined by the Board.

SCHEDULE 2

PROVISIONS AS TO RIGHTS AND LIABILITIES VESTED UNDER SECTION 44

[S. 44]

Where rights or liabilities under an agreement are vested under

section 44 the agreement shall have effect on and after the

appointed day as if -

(a) the Corporation had been a party to the agreement;

(b)

for any reference (whether express or implied and, if

express, however worded) to the Government there were

substituted, as respects anything falling to be done

on or after the appointed day, a reference to the

Corporation;

engaged in the business of, the Government and

capacity were, as respects anything falling to be
