This is a note following our telephone conversation of earlier this month when you were in Hong Kong.
As discussed, I would like to undertake a general profile story on Lord Caithness for the Sunday Morning Post Magazine when I visit London in late September.

The piece would be "soft" in that it would not be an overtly "political" story, although it would inevitably cover Lord Caithness' recent trip to Hong Kong and his general thoughts on the colony.
For an article of this kind we would like to examine his Lordship's career as well as giving a general indication of his interests: outside of politics.
As the article would appear in the Sunday Morning Post Magazine, the colour supplement that accompanies the Sunday edition of the South China Morning Post, photography is of prime importance.
To that end we would like to take pictures, not only of Lord Caithness in the chamber of the House of Lords and in his office, but also in some kind of domestic setting, be it his country garden or town house.
