I write to say goodbye before I leave for Hong Kong mid

next month.

I feel

It's been 10 years since I last lived in the colony. it's high time to return, not that I'll ease the tide of brain- drain, but it'll be interesting to witness the transition at first hand, and to taste the rigour of Hong Kong's life style

after such a long lapse.
