The speech helped of course but that presumably will not always be a feature of visits. And we undoubtedly caught the press by surprise; next time they will be better prepared and ready to ambush us. The Minister gave three radio interviews to RTHK, Commercial Radio and the BBC. If we can make time for a couple of short TV interviews during the Minister's next visit I would hope to be able to eliminate most of the carping.
