We are disappointed not to be able to see the Prime Minister during his visit but we nevertheless expect him to take the opportunity to announce the General Compensation Scheme for HMOCS members serving in Hong Kong. Should no assurances be forthcoming the Association will be forced to resort to the measures outlined to you at our meeting of 9 May this year.

Finally I should be grateful if you would inform us what steps the Hong Kong Government is taking to obtain an announcement from the Prime Minister.
