Conditions of payment of widow's pension
Payment of widow's pension should continue after the widow's remarriage because the benefits are due to the contributions of the widow's husband (PFC)
DEATH GRATUITY
The following proposals should be implemented as early as possible as they do not require legislative amendments (SCSC)
(a)
(b)
ex-gratia payment for deceased officers who are not eligible for death gratuity because of short service; and
nomination of spouse as recipient of death gratuity by married officers,
