HMOCS Matters: Costs of Sterling Safeguards

Further to my telno 2456 of 5 August, I forward

herewith the projected pension bill for serving HMOCS officers and pensioners, and capitalised value of all outstanding HMOCS pension liabilities in 1997 for -

(a) Without commutation of pension before and

after 1997 (Annexes B2 - L2)

(b) with commutation of pension before and

after 1997 (Annexes B3 - L3)

1 hope that the issue of sterling safeguard can be taken forward with the Treasury soon.
