Strong British contenders in three of the groups, ie Costains/Trafalgar House, Balfour Beatty, and Mowlem.

Earth Moving Equipment

A major machinery contract (a third of total required). Companies likely to be particularly interested in cranes to assemble dump trucks.

Airport Design

BAA are very interested. (Comment: though their link to Norman Foster may be a disadvantage in Hong Kong). Other British contenders include Maunsells, W S Atkins Scott Wilson Kirk Patrick.
