Many thanks for your letter of 7 August. I see no problems with your draft letter but I do wonder whether it would not be better to wait until David Wilson's return from leave rather than sending it to the acting Governor.
2. We shall of course be able to some extent to operate as an early warning system, since we are likely to be fairly well plugged in once the Airport Committee is set up. However we may not pick everything up, and I think the letter is well worth sending in any case.
