Income and expenditure for the year 1990/91 were HKD666.10m and HKD569.71m respectively. The excess of income over expenditure after transfer of HKD35.21m to Other Specific Funds Account was HKD61.18m. An Income and Expenditure Account and Balance Sheet are shown on pages 62 and 63.
REPORT OF THE AUDITORS TO THE MEMBERS OF THE HONG KONG TRADE DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL
We have audited the accounts set out on pages 62 to 71 in accordance with approved Auditing Standards.
In our opinion, the accounts give a true and fair view of the state of the Council's financial affairs at 31st March 1991 and of its movements in funds and changes in financial position for the year then ended and have been prepared in accordance with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council Ordinance.
