It would be useful if Lord Young could mention to Chinese

leaders the recent elections to the Hong Kong Legislative

Council and the need to work with not against the new

members. The Prime Minister could say

Helpful if you could touch on recent elections to the Legislative Council in Hong Kong.

Chinese, like us, will need to deal with the reality

of the new LegCo.

Hope that the Chinese will keep open a dialogue with the newly elected members and develop a cooperative

attitude.
