Further to our Telegram No. 1079 of 1991 confirming Hong Kong's intention to participate as part of the UK delegation at the Diplomatic Conference on Patents in June, we have now identified, for planning purpose, from the WIPO schedule of meetings for 1991 (Ref
WO/INF/10/13) the following which Hong Kong Government would wish to attend :-

Miss A C Waters of the Intellectual Property Department of Hong Kong has attended the 1st and 2nd sessions and her continued attendance is suggested.

participate in the above meetings, it is considered that Hong Kong Government would also wish to attend to keep abreast of the proposals for an international regime. We are aware that in these meetings, the representative from Hong Kong Government will attend as a member of the United Kingdom Delegation on the basis as set out in your Telegram No. 1891 of 1989 relating to the WIPO meeting of the Committee of Experts on the Harmonization of Patent Law.
