Thank you for your letter of 10 October, which was forwarded to me by the FCO.
The Hong Kong Government is of course happy to assist your Inquiry where possible. However, it is likely that the only office in the Hong Kong Government which might be able to provide help of any value is that of the Commissioner of Banking.
I understand that John Aspden of the Banking Commission has already responded to your separate letter to him, and suggest that he should be your contact person in Hong Kong. He will be able to liaise with other parts of the Hong Kong Government in answering your questions, should that be necessary.
