(2) the People's Republic of China shall be denied

nondiscriminatory (most-favored-nation) trade treat-

ment by the United States and the products of the

People's Republic of China shall be subject to the rates

of duty set forth in column number 2 of the Harmo-

nized Tariff Schedule of the United States, and

(3) the People's Republic of China may not be

provided nondiscriminatory (most-favored-nation) trade

treatment under any provision of title IV of the Trade

Act of 1974 (19 U.S.C. 2431, et seq.).

11 SEC. 2. EFFECTIVE DATE.

The provisions of this Act shall apply with respect to

13 articles entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consump-

14 tion after the date that is 15 days after the date of enactment

15 of this Act.
