I am writing to seek your assistance in securing

a place on the 1992 RCDS course. During the last few years, with FCO's help and support, we have been fortunate enough to obtain a place every year since 1987.

We attach a lot of importance to the RCDS course and we would like to continue to send outstanding members of the Administrative Service, or the Police and possibly other civil service grades to the course to prepare them for key positions. According to past experience, the RCDS will call for applications in the next few months. May I, therefore, request you to approach the Royal College on our behalf, to convey our keen interest to obtain a place for Hong Kong in 1992.
