VISIT BY GOVERNOR OF HONG KONG: 21-27 JUNE 1991

1. The centre-piece of the Governor's visit will be the

meeting at No 10 at 1100 on 25 June, for which Mr Burns has already submitted papers.

The Minister of State will see the Governor:

1000-1050 on 25 June (before the No 10 meeting) 1300-1430 on 25 June (working lunch afterwards)

0900-1030 on 26 June (he then sees the Secretary of

State)

The first two meetings will no doubt concentrate on

preparation for the No 10 meeting and follow-up to it. I submit only a short brief. The 26 June meeting could cover other ground. I submit briefs on:

Vietnamese migrants (SEAD brief)
