FCO wants to know if the Governor would like to meet Sir Percy Cradock during his visit. Grateful for your advice. FCO is unable to say at this stage whether there will be meetings in the morning of 26 June (Wed). As noted above, meetings with Ministers have yet to be confirmed.

5. Should there be any major developments in HK which would benefit from the Governor making clarification or elaboration here, we would recommend that the Governor gives live interview(s) on BBC Radio 4 4 "Today" programme and/or BBC TV Breakfast programme (both interviews would require the Governor's departure from his hotel at 0645 for the TV Centre at White City).

In addition, you will wish to know that Baroness Dunn would be meeting the British-HK Parliamentary Group at the Commons the week before, on 19 June (Wed) (at her request).
