ANNEX III
1. These should follow the standard pattern of briefs for Ministers and officials (see DSP 3.5.1). Each brief should be a completely self-contained document, covering the following points in the order shown:

Introduction
Objectives
Points to Make (on a separate sheet)
Essential Facts
It may not always be necessary to include the Introduction or Objectives sections.
2.
Briefs should be concise and well focussed. A specimen of the required format is attached. They should be typed at 1 spacing, and should not exceed 4 sides of A4.
3. Briefs should be prepared on the attached Logica formatted WP disk, and returned to CCD together with three final copies on blue paper and one on white, by 1200 hours Monday 23 September. CCD will arrange for any further amendment and reproduction.
