To encourage Switzerland to complete the domestic procedures to become a

member of the IMF as soon as possible.

To defer discussion of the Swiss having a seat on the Fund's Board until

1992 Board elections.

Expertise and resources will be most helpful to IFIs.

5.. Glad that the Swiss authorities and the Executive Board (EB) have reached

agreement on Switzerland's starting quota of SDR 1.7 billion ($2.3 billion).
