Hong Kong Gulf Contribution

We continue to try to get coverage of the Hong Kong contribution into the UK press (our fax LOT 441 of 19 February refers), though with no success to date. We have, however, briefed 34 of our friends in both Houses.

This morning Henry Keswick, who is on the board of the Daily Telegraph, has offered to have a word with Charles Moore, the Deputy Editor. The plan is that:

is that the paper should send a journalist to this office for a briefing. It remains to be seen whether the Daily Telegraph will accept the invitation.
