Latest Position
Following
meeting with
departmental management on 12.3.91, staff agreed to resume most duties on the understanding that five promotion posts would be created. The departmental management is examining other improvements to promotion prospects and conditions of service of the grade with a view to resolving the dispute.
Artisans were disappointed with recommendations in the Standing Commission's Report No. 26 and petitioned OMELCO on 18.1.91. They will conduct a one-member-one-letter
to CSB campaign expressing their dissatisfaction and will conduct an
opinion survey among staff on the
next course of action.
