Regulation 4 is amended

(a) by being renumbered as paragraph (2); and

(b)

by adding before paragraph (2)

"(1) Within 14 days after the date of

publication in the Gazette of a notice under

section 5G of the Ordinance in respect of any

constituency in respect of the Legislative

Council, the returning officer for that

constituency shall, subject to section 5H(2) of

the Ordinance, publish in the Gazette a notice

of by-election in Form 2 in the Schedule stating

(a) the name of the constituency and

the number of vacancies in that

constituency:
