STIPEND PAYABLE TO MEMBERS OF LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL

to each member a stipend of $8,500 per month or, where

a person is

a member for part only of a month, an amount,

to the nearest whole dollar, that bears to that first-

mentioned amount the same proportion as the number of

days of that month on which he is a member bears to the

total number of days of that month.
