ELECTORAL PROVISIONS (PROCEDURE) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1991

Made under section 28

1. Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Electoral Provisions

(Procedure) (Amendment) Regulations 1991.

Decisions as to validity of nomination papers

Regulation 9 (6) of the Electoral Provisions (Procedure) Regulations (Cap. 367 sub. leg.) is repealed and the following substituted

down

"(6) The decision of the returning officer that a

nomination paper is valid or invalid, as the case may be, shall be final and shall not be questioned in any proceeding

whatsoever except by an election petition under Part VI of the

Ordinance.".
