Initial response to the Governor's

the Governor's choice of LegCo appointed members is quite positive. Although many YL contacts admit that they don't know the new appointees personally, they feel the choice is fair and acceptable. Some members of the public could only say that the new appointees are not well known in the N.T. and that most have a professional background. Our contacts believe that appointing professionals/ experts is preferrable to picking those with strong political affiliation.
