On the evidence to date, the results for

direct-election constituencies are likely to be:

the

(a) The

"Democrats" will take a total of 11

seats

(eight will go to the UDHK, two to the

HKADPL and one to the HKDF);

(b) The

"Conservatives"

will

take two seats

(both of which will be held by pro-Peking

members);

(c) The

"Independents"

will take two seats

(i.e.,

Elsie TU and Andrew WONG); and

(d) "The

Pragmatists" will take three seats, all

of whom will be Heung Yee Kuk supporters.
