SERVICE OF THANKSGIVING FOR SIR Y K PAO: 23 JANUARY
In your letter of 23 December you asked which FCO Ministers will be attending this service and whether the Prime Minister should try to do so.
The Foreign Secretary and Lord Caithness both plan to attend the service. We believe that in the circumstances there is no need for the Prime Minister to attend unless he particularly wished to do so.
