As regards those companies list under Category 'A' and 'c'
the names will be residual companies listed under Category 'D', put to the Committee again and unless there are any disenters, will be forwarded to Government House. There is one exception and that is Hong Kong Lands Property Ltd which is part of the Jardines Group which will be discussed at the next Committee Meeting. There is also one typeographical error on the residual list in
Howden that the first name mentioned should read Howden Fedco. are a Glasgow-based company and I am sure their name will be registered at Company House.
The Committee met on 4 December and discussed at length, the Swires and Cable & Wireless/Hong Kong Telecom group of companies. Their findings are the subject of the Senior Trade Commissoner's fax of todays date to David Love.
