Happy New Year and greetings from Hongkong

الون

How are you? I had an interview with you during yourlast visit herc

in Hongkong. Thank you again for the interview.

Some time before the announcement of the nationality package, you had

a meeting with a representative of the Concerned British Expatriates' Society,

Mr Julian Walsh. He told me today that you had assured the group that

the Government had made a decision regarding their concern of the nationality status o their non-British spouses.

MY questions are as follow:

1. Has the Government reached a decision regarding the status of such spouses

which number in hundreds in Hongkong?

2. when will the plan be announced (if there is such a decision)?

3. Will there be a change in rules governing the spouses' right to settle

.... the UK?

Thank you very much for you attention.
