How To Apply

You can get an application form (Form BN (HK)1), together with a detailed guidance note to help you fill in the form, from any District Office, Immigration Office, Post Office or

Government Publications Sales Centre from December 1

The application form (BN (HK) 1) includes sections in which you can apply for your spouse and children to be registered as British citizens. Fill in these sections if you want their applications to be considered together with your own. If you wish, you can submit separate applications for your spouse and children after your Own application has been successful. These should be submitted through Form BN (HK) 2 for your spouse and Form BN (HK) 3 for each of your children. Forms BN (HK) 2 and BN (HK) 3 will be available at a later stage.

These separate applications, however, must be submitted before a date to be specified by the Governor to enable them to be processed before June 30, 1997.

Your completed application form must be returned by personal delivery or sent by registered mail to the British Nationality Division, Immigration Department, 7 Gloucester Road, Wanchai by February 28, 1991.

Since vour initial score will be based on details provided in your application form, you should ensure that full and accurate information is given. You should complete all parts
