BACKGROUND
1. The Governor of Hong Kong plans to visit the UK from
28 June -7 July. But his visit is unlikely to be announced until
shortly beforehand.
2. The British Nationality (Hong Kong) Bill was one of the main
issues which Mr Maude discussed with the Governor and his advisers
during his visit to Hong Kong from 6-11 April.
