For all these reasons, I am sure that our package requires new freestanding provisions separate from the provisions of Section 4 of

4 of the British Nationality Action, and that

that that

section does not offer an attractive alternative to the plans recently discussed by OD (K). I would, therefore, prefer to proceed with the draft Bill which has been prepared.
