Distribution of the DSS quota

Under the DSS, each disciplined service will be given a sub-quota proportional to the size of the service. that individual services may retain key personnel in all enchelons, the heads of the services may, subject to the agreement of the Secretary for Security, decide to further divide their allocated places between separate ranks of officers in the same service.

The following is an outline of the application
procedures under the DSS :

Upon the Steering Group's endorsement, the marking schemes of individual disciplined services will be incorporated into the computer programme of the Immigration Department.
