CONFIDENTIAL
17. There will be no obligation upon the sponsor to continue to employ the secondee for the duration of the scheme. However, if the [SofS/Governor] considers that a secondee's employment has been unreasonably terminated, he may decide to allow the secondment to continue under the sponsorship of another firm or organisation.
DEPENDANTS
18. The position of dependants of secondees under this scheme will be identical to that of beneficiaries under the main scheme. They will be able to accompany the secondee for each period of employment in the UK subject to the normal maintenance and accommodation requirements laid down in the Immigration Rules (HC 388) being met.
DOCUMENTATION
19. Upon acceptance on the scheme, secondees will receive a letter of confirmation signed on behalf of the Governor. In addition, their passports will be endorsed with a special form of open-dated employment entry clearance. On arrival in the UK for each portion of the secondment, leave to enter for employment will be given for the appropriate period on the basis of information contained in a letter from the sponsor. Leave to remain for dependants will be granted in line subject to the requirements mentioned in paragraph 18 above.
APPEALS
There will be no appeal to the UK appellate authorities against any decision made by the SofS or by the Governor on his behalf.
