The Secretary of State will find an opportunity to speak to Mr Steve Morris.

(j) We should make every effort to lobby other countries to take helpful steps on the nationality question. The Secretary of State said that Sir Eldon Griffiths had encouraged him to find an opportunity to see Senator Peter Wilson, who would be the next Governor of California. The Secretary of State would like to do this during his visit to Washington on 29/30 January. Mr Wall has spoken to Mr Burns, NAD, about this.
