I have noted your comments, and the case which Mr Ho has made, but I am afraid it remains my view that special provision, particularly of the kind Mr Ho has in mind which would be entirely outside the aims of the present Bill, would be inappropriate. Where they are eligible, of course, members of the Eurasian community will be able to apply for British passports under the Selection Scheme.
