Joined by Norman Spector (Secretary to the Cabinet for Federal/Provincial Relations) and Nick d'Ombrain (Assistant Secretary, Machinery of Government) to discuss federal/provincial relations.
Meeting with Mr Tellier and Deputy Secretaries responsible for operations and planning to discuss government priorities and policy
Working lunch at the Rideau Club, hosted by Paul Tellier, for discussion of general subjects including the Public Service 2000 project (Guests are likely to include 6-8 Deputy Ministers - PUS equivalent from central Ministries)
Return to PCO for any further discussion of Public 2000 and senior personnel issues
(This meeting will include Mr Tellier and his Deputy, Bob Dewar, who is the Senior Advisor on Personnel Management)
Wash up session with Mr Tellier
Call on Robert de Cotret, President of the Treasury Board
Attend dinner at Earnscliffe in honour of the Speaker of the House of Commons
