Hope the Netherlands Government will be able to respond
jable favourably to our request to take measures similar to our

Aware of difficulties you face in granting citizenship or
permanent residency to people in Hong Kong without their having to
leave the territory but anything that you can do short of this would
still be useful.
Other countries are offering permanent residence to local
employees of their companies in Hong Kong, without their having to
leave the territory.
Alternatively would the Netherlands Government be willing to
consider a secondment scheme, permitting Dutch companies in Hong
Kong to send local employees for limited periods of work/training to
head offices in the Netherlands with time spend on this secondment
counting towards qualification for settlement status and eventual
citizenship.
